Branson Country USA
Branson, MO September 2014
The cowgirls had a blast while entertaining at Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO in September. Eli Barsi, a friend of Horse Crazy, mentioned this great new opportunity, so Lauralee got on the telephone and worked her charm! They landed a spot on the local television program, “Branson Country USA” hosted by the Grand Country nuts, Jamie Haage as Jim Dandy, and Mike Patrick. There were skits, dancers, and people coming and going from the green room at lightning speed. Judy, Jennifer and Lauralee got in on all the fun. Wayne and Matt, two of the professional band members of the Grand Jubilee House Band joined the girls for the performance you can watch below. It's HOT! The show is also broadcast on radio and television stations around the country. This includes local stations: KRZK –106.3 FM, in Branson, Missouri, KHBZ – 102.9 FM, in Harrison, Arkansas, and KOZL-27 TV, in Springfield, Missouri. Be a part of the studio audience! The show can also be downloaded as a podcast, via the internet at www.iTunes.com. When the red “ON AIR” light comes on, it’s sure to be a GRAND time!
The Kamloops Cowboy Festival
The BC Cowboy Heritage Society Proudly Presents the 20th Anniversary! Horse Crazy Cowgirl Band offered hot licks, harmonizing and lots of humor at this year's festival. Lauralee Northcott, Jennifer Epps, and Judy Coder share a special chemistry, and Canadian audiences responded! The girls we treated to an enormous suite for the duration of the engagement and it was hard to get them out of their room! Jennifer Epps was heard to comment, “Finally they are treating us like stars... hurray!” Gordy West, a well known Canadian performer and long time ambassador for the Calgary Stampede expressed his opinion by saying, “Horse Crazy understands that performances need to be exciting. These girls get it. When they perform everyone takes notice and responds! We should all take a page out of their playbook.” We have to say,"Thank you, Gordy!"
