What's Being Said by Presenters
Thank you Horse Crazy! You never cease to amaze me with you bubbliness on stage - there is absolutely no question that you're having fun! The best part for us is the fact that that fun and cheerfulness rubs off on the audience and it isn't many minutes till everyone in the room is having the time of their life. Add the western swing flavour, super musical talent, and the incredible harmonies to this and we couldn't have expected the evening to have been any better.

The performance at the Kamloops Cowboy Festival by the gals in Horse Crazy was pure magic. Their prefect blend of crisp harmony and tight musicianship was a joy to experience. One moment they had us stomping and clapping and the next we quieted as haunting melodies floated to the top balcony sweeping through the audience like mountain zephyrs. Their talent, coupled with their obvious friendship and affection for performing, drew the audience into their mad little world some 47 miles off the pavement-and that’s a world I’ll gladly visit again.

As a DJ I receive several CD’ every week from recording artists from around the country. When I got the new release “WESTERN MOON’ from Horse Crazy I was in Cowboy Heaven. It’s not very often I get a CD where I enjoy every cut. This is pure pleasure to the ear as Horse Crazy is easy to the eye. The blend of smooth harmonies with crisp instrumentation lends this CD as one of the best. If you are a true collector of western music or just a drive by listener you must have this new release. I give this my highest mark of four full strands of barbed wire, In Harmony...

If Gene Autry could hear "Cowboy Blues" on your Western Moon CD, he'd roll over in his grave! Roll over clapping, that is - 'cause he'd love it!

Howdy Gals,
Thanks for sending your CD, Daughters of the West. It’s great! I really enjoyed it. It’s a nice, fresh take on the “cowgirl” sound. Plus, I’m a big yodeling fan, so I was mighty pleased that you tackled that old Carolina Cotton fave, Mockingbird Yodel.

Horse Crazy gals…..Western Moon is a great album! It is wonderful. It will definitely become one our “on-the-road” favorites, destined for many plays on long road trips. Takes me back to my Sons of the Pioneer days, so many years ago.

Horse Crazy plays and sings like Larry Mahan rode broncs - great fun!

The group Horse Crazy is a true delight! I have had the opportunity to see them several times now and each time the show has been different and very entertaining! You can tell they honestly enjoy performing and that flow out into the audience so that they have a great time right along with the girls! I highly recommend seeing one of their shows any time you can.

What can you say about Horse Crazy... Everything! These cowgirls know how to thrill a crowd. The harmony vocals and stage presence stop an audience in their tracks. Conversation is silenced and active listening is the only thing on peoples minds. I saw several of the "Kickin' Cowgirls" performances at the Lee Earl Gathering and was once again permanently enthralled.

Finally got a chance to listen to your CD. Great job! You gals sound great... like a new version of my favorite Ranch Romance but with a Methow edge. Keep up the good work!

With the warmth and tenderness in their voices, the three ladies of Horse Crazy have blended harmony and song in a way that makes you feel you are hearing a celestial sound, rather than an earthly one... but make no mistake, these three ladies have their feet planted firmly on Western soil. Through their original and traditional songs, Horse Crazy ahs created an unmistakable sound and is leaving an indelible mark on the new frontiers of Western Music.

It was so great to see you gals in Kamloops. You're one of my very favourite western acts... not only because of your talent, but because of your fun-loving personalities. I intend to mention you all in my review, so keep an eye out at the BCCHS web site.

I just wanted to thank you for not only your performances, but your down to earth friendliness at the Cowboy Festival in Santa Clarita. You ladies are so talented and inspiring!

Outside Chicago in the early days of television on Saturdays you could watch Roy and Dale, Flash Gordon or dumb cartoons. Naturally, I liked Roy and Dale (he was my "honey" when I was 6 years old, only he didn't know it). And you didn't BECOME a cowgirl if you lived here - you could only watch them on TV. So going to Silver Dollar City and watching all the great cowgirls kind of took me back to my youth - and all those Saturdays watching Roy and Dale.
- Mookie
The morning that we were to go to Silver Dollar City, two complete strangers at the restaurant told us that Horse Crazy was the best act there! We saw them, and they were! Their energy just flowed into the audience. Wow...

It was wonderful to be with all of you again. What a fantastic treat, and simply another jewel of a memory to treasure in days to come.

You've done the things you sing about in your songs, and that blows me away. |
I need another lifetime so I can do all the things you sing about!
|
I felt like I was riding with you.
|
Your voices blend so beautifully. You each have great voices but together it is magic.
|
You girls are just so much fun! |
Fantastic show! When are you playing next? |
Your harmonies are beautiful, the humor sharp and the outfits DYN-O-MITE! Your performance certainly had it all. The week's experience made me feel like I was 10 years old again and still a cowgirl myself - how cool is that?! Dale Evans would also be proud. |
