ROCKIN’ HW with WMA Cowboy Poet of the year finalist Michael Whitaker will take the stage for the May 8th Friday night Dollar Watch Cowboy Jamboree. Guitarist and singer Alan Halvorson will charm you with his rich voice and warm style. The trio is complete with classic poet Morry Walter. This group offers it all, with some of the best in classic cowboy poetry, wonderful music and original poetry from one of the best contemporary poets around. You don’t want to miss the Rockin’ HW.
Horse Crazy will be there to kick things off with their satin harmonies and great swing numbers. Chosen as one of the top western groups in America, our own Horse Crazy is a show stopper.
Mary Milka as Martha Star Route will be on hand with Dr. Dave McClure at the wheel cooking up schemes to keep everyone guessing.
The entire town of Winthrop will be dressed up for the weekend, hosting the annual '49ers Celebration, with packer tents all over the park, a parade, and other interesting events. You don’t want to miss this great weekend in Winthrop.

Eli Barsi will headline on Saturday night. Singer, Songwriter, Musician and yodeler with 10 CD’s, 11 Canadian Charted Radio Singles, 3 CMT videos, and winner of the Academy of Western Artists Female Vocalist of the year for 2006 along with the Crescendo Award for Best New Artist by the Western Music Association that same year! We are in for a treat!

Eli Barsi is driven by her passion for music, committed to giving her best, and strives for excellence on and off stage. For the past 22 years Eli has been working as a professional musician. Eli is a proud Canadian who was hired to perform with the legendary Sons of the Pioneers in the year 2002, and since this show, she has been based out of Branson, Missouri. Eli is a diverse artist that shares a large variety of genres in her shows such as: Western Roots, Gospel, New Country, Bluegrass, Classic Country & Folk. With a 3, 4, or 5 piece band, or on stage alone with her guitar, Eli is a crowd pleaser!

Horse Crazy, that totally fun cowgirl band will be on hand along with Dave McClure, cowboy poet and humorist. Don’t forget the Elbow Coulee Cast of Characters: Forest Stump, Girl of the Golden West, Jingle Queens of the San Joaquin and perhaps a surprise guest. These folks will remind you what it means to be entertained!
